The Constitution says that this is to be done only after a census, every ten years. And apparently the Supremes said that the Voting Rights Act was violated there.

Just curious what the thoughts are here.zenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06084723698281173517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15898206.post-1150761112886350472006-06-19T19:51:00.000-04:002006-06-19T19:51:00.000-04:00would those tactics include a solid platform and g...would those tactics include a solid platform and good canidates?

I guess then the Dem attack slogan
should have been.....(wait for it!).....(it's good).....

.....

"It takes one to know one!"

........

Told ya it was good!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15898206.post-1150724520020106672006-06-19T09:42:00.000-04:002006-06-19T09:42:00.000-04:00"I'm sure this only means that the Republicans wer..."I'm sure this only means that the Republicans were sooooo much stronger that they could even overcome those darn cheating Dems. As noted above in my reply to Bubba we should allow two days to vote to avoid those long lines and help prevent judges from keeping poll places in St. Louis open past closing times posted. Let the media play for that is what they live for but if we release no counts until the end this would help prevent any "Media influence" in turnout and people "Quitting" before voting. Weak people... Military vote? Damn right we should be sure to count those guys...

And I do believe those darn Republicans are strong enough to overcome the "Questionable" votes out there each election. The problems with voting seem to happen mostly in areas controlled by the Democrats. The bad ballot in Florida was designed and provided by a democrat election board. When "Missing Ballot Boxes" are found they seem to favor the democrat candidate... etc...

Please feel free to provide examples of the Republican party and their "tactics"...RightsideVAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07933540804900931601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15898206.post-1150723830850725012006-06-19T09:30:00.000-04:002006-06-19T09:30:00.000-04:00Bubba,"The culture of corruption" play is a good o...Bubba,
"The culture of corruption" play is a good one but you have to be able to have a clean house before you complain. The Dem's should have considered this. The Abrahamoff thing with dirty money turns out to involve numerous Democrats including Democrat minority leader Harry Reid and many from both parties taking ??? money. Then there is the guy with $90,000 in his freezer...

Regarding the true count of votes I did not even bring up the "Chicago" factor and the voting of the dead. This is a true problem that needs to be addressed and not used as an excuse when your side does not win. I am in favor of allowing two days to vote, must provide positive photo identification, all names ran thru a database to ensure voting per person allowed only once, no media release of exit polls or counts until all votes are counted. I can wait until it's all done to avoid the following example of the 2000 election...

Election 2000 Florida
* CBS News declared Gore taking Florida and that the polls had been closed 18 times before polls actually closed...

* 3 seperate studies found that by calling Florida for Gore by 7:49 pm this suppressed thousands of votes in GOP heavy panhandle...

* Voting patterns since 1976 compared to 2000 vote showed that early call for Gore resulted in
10,000 to 37,000 missed votes in heavy GOP panhandle...
Research by John LottRightsideVAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07933540804900931601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15898206.post-1150721211488070322006-06-19T08:46:00.000-04:002006-06-19T08:46:00.000-04:00As you say, "Of course not all Voter Fraud is done...As you say, "Of course not all Voter Fraud is done by just one party" it is indeed interesting to consider who actually won the elections.

I'm sure this only means that the Republicans were sooooo much stronger that they could even overcome those darn cheating Dems. With the examples given here and with some of the other known election issues surrounding the Dem. Party, I really wonder if all the culture of corruption talk really pertains to the Democrats.

Also if they think that in order to win they have to resort to these kind of tactics what does it say about their platform, much les the ethics of the party as a whole?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
