So where is my lousy T-shirt?...

Governor Tim Kaine is skipping all over the United States as the Chairman of the Democratic Party while also claiming to be the Governor of Virginia at the same time.

.

Sounds like a good time for Timmy but where are our lousy T-shirts that you always get after somebody goes on a great vacation?

.

Timmy got the Frequent flier miles, we got the $300 million budget shortfall...

Delegate Ben Cline (R-24th) ~Raphine VA. Fireman's Parade & Lawn Party 2009~

.

Delegate Ben Cline walking the parade route during the Raphine Firemans Parade & Lawn Party today starting at 6:30pm. Great weather considering the storms that had moved thru the area earlier and frequent rains we have been getting all month...

Several of us came down from Augusta County to help out Ben and his campaign staff with this parade and its always easy to get people out to represent the strong G.O.P. team we have this year. Volunteers (L-R) Bill C., Charles K, Jimmy Brenenman, Elizabeth Cline, Ben Cline, Mike Shull and son, Augusta Republican Chairman Bill Shirley, Chris Green... Raphine is actually in Rockbridge County and Clines district (24th) is in parts of both Augusta and Rockbridge counties so it is also easy to get supporters to travel to support strong conservative candidates like Ben Cline..

Along with the Ben Cline set-up we provided info and numerous hand-outs providing issues and facts regarding the strong Republican candidates we have in Bob McDonnell for Governor, Bill Bolling for Lt. Governor, and Ken Cuccinelli for Attorney General.

Augusta County Republican Chairman Bill Shirley discusses topics and issues with Mike Shull who was the Republican candidate during the past election for county Supervisor in the Middlebrook district of Augusta County. A very popular information handout during this parade was the one describing Bob McDonnells plans for "More Energy, More Jobs" including offshore exploration and drilling for oil & natural gas, "Green Jobs", Nuclear, Coal, and renewable energy sources...

Besides the truck representing the Team GOP-VA we had another truck promoting "Virginians for Energy Independence" and "Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less" projects. With gasoline once again over $2.66 a gallon across the United States and possibly head towards $4+ if something is not done, this truck was very popular with the crowd...

"Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less" stickers were very popular with the crowd...

Bob McDonnell for Governor...
Bill Bolling for Lt. Goverrnor...
Ken Cuccinelli for Attorney General...

Sails, Tales & Margaritas in Key West...

.
Anyone that has been to the Florida Keys and\or Key West understands the above graphic. All the more if you are a saltwater sportfishing fanatic and know of the incredible diversity in sportfishing available to visitors to the Keys...

I take this opportunity to introduce a new blog\website for the Compass Rose Light Tackle boat operating out of Key West by my friend Mike Weinhofer. I have fished with Mike many times over the years and he is very knowledgeable of the Keys and the fish you can catch...

.

Take a look at the blog for recent photos and postings and also the Compass Rose website for more information on fishing the Keys and booking a trip aboard the Compass Rose...

.

If you like the graphic above of Sails, Tales & Margaritas it is also available on shirts by logging onto here...

Creigh "Dirty" Deeds gets himself a "Slash-man"?...

.

Virginia Virtucon has an interesting story on how Creigh "Dirty" Deeds has gotten himself a new Political Director that comes with a history of voter obstruction\intimidation. It seems that Levar Stoney may not have performed the actual slashing of the tires to 100 vans rented by the GOP to take voters to the polls, but he did have knowledge of those who did when the "Cops came a calling"...

.

.

And now Creigh Deeds has decided to bring this guy on as his Political Director. Is this what we have to look forward to this election? Yes Levar Stoney may not have known about the plans to slash the tires(?) but he did hide the facts of who did when the police first came to investigate and only rolled over once the FBI "came a calling"...

.

And to show what type of campaign we are talking about take a look at two of the "Slashers" that were caught performing this form of voter obstruction...

.

The men charged with flattening 40 tires include Michael Pratt, 32, the son of former Acting Mayor Marvin Pratt, and Sowande A. Omokunde, 25, the son of U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Milwaukee).
.
Sounds like the way they run campaigns out in "Chicago-land"....

Potential of Fraud?

.

Marketwatch reports that there is a potential of fraud regarding the governments planned stimulus package of close to $50 BILLION dollars...

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Swindlers, con men, and thieves could siphon off as much as $50 billion of the government's planned stimulus package as the money begins flooding the economy in coming months, according to David Williams, who runs Deloitte Financial Services Advisory and counsels clients on fraud prevention.

Remember the government when it ran the relief efforts after Hurricane Katrina\Rita and the amount of OUR money that was stolen?

And that was only part of the story. Read some more here....
