DeWayne attacks Gov. Scott Walker from a different angle....

Columnist DeWayne Wickham is doing his "Democrat~Duty" by continuing the attack on Wisconsin Republican Governor Scott Walker this time in the form of claiming the Governor is attempting to "restrict the pillars of the Democratic base" from being able to vote...

"The proposed ID law would restrict the right to vote to people with military IDs, driver’s licenses and a state-issued ID card. Passports and photo ID cards issued to college students (even those from state universities) would not be acceptable."

"College students and public unions are pillars of the Democratic base. Wisconsin’s ID law would suppress voter participation among students. A 2005 University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Employment and Training Institute study found that 82% of 18-, 19-, 20-year-olds did not have a driver’s license in the ZIP codes for neighborhoods near Marquette University, the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The study also showed that statewide, the majority of college-age blacks and Hispanics lacked driver’s licenses."

So how do these people function without a valid form of identification? College issue photo I.D.?How hard is that to get a bogus college I.D.?....
.
How do these people get utilities? Use a credit card? Rent a car? Rent a movie? Get into a bar? (college students) Get onto an airplane? Cash that government check? ...
.
Maybe instead DeWayne Wickham should be asked why he believes making it easier to commit Voter fraud is a "back-pocket" issue of the Democratic Party?.....

Obama even weighs in on the "Wisconsin Rebellion".....

President Obama has now "Thrust himself" and his machine into the budget battle going on in Wisconsin where the State Governor is attempting to save the States budget and future by getting the Teacher's and other unions to pay into their retirement funds....
.
Besides messing with the 10th amendment of the US Constitution which separates the Federal government from the State government, (Which had to be explained recently to our local Virginia State Central representative when she continued to interrupt a committee meeting) the President is obviously backing his buddies that helped him get into office and ignoring the taxpayers who have to foot the bill....

MADISON, WIS. - "President Obama thrust himself and his political operation this week into Wisconsin's broiling budget battle, mobilizing opposition Thursday to a Republican bill that would curb public-worker benefits while planning similar action in other state capitals."

"Obama accused Scott Walker, the state's new Republican governor, of unleashing an "assault" on unions in pushing emergency legislation that would nullify collective-bargaining agreements that affect most public employees, including teachers."
.
Obviously the DNC is involved in the busing in of many protesters who are flooding the halls of the Wisconsin state building and reports of them going to the Governors house and many of the Republican legislators home residences to protest, trespass, disrupt, and do exactly what we have expected from the Democratic National Committee...
.
"The Democratic National Committee's Organizing for America arm -- the remnant of the 2008 Obama campaign -- is playing an active role in organizing protests against Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker's attempt to strip most public employees of collective bargaining rights."

"OfA Wisconsin's field efforts include filling buses and building turnout for the rallies this week in Madison, organizing 15 rapid response phone banks urging supporters to call their state legislators, and working on planning and producing rallies, a Democratic Party official in Washington said."

.

And how 'bout those Democrat Senators who have fled the State so they do not have to vote on the bill in the Wisconsin Senate? Where is the comment from the President on this action?...

Bama was mad when Supreme Court said Corporations could donate... What about the Unions?...

President Obama called out the Supreme Court at his last State of the Union speech for ruling that Corporations could donate toward political campaigns. But yet did he forget how many MILLIONS the labor unions donate, mostly to Democrats, each election cycle?
IBD has info here...

A bill making its way through the Senate would bail out union pension funds to the tune of $165 billion. The bill's author, Democratic Sen. Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, wants the public to pay for the gold-plated union retirement benefits that the funds have mismanaged into oblivion

This has to be galling to average working saps who watch as their 401(k)s and IRAs plummet, only to be asked to pony up billions of dollars in subsidies for unionized workers — many of whom get to retire into the lap of unlabored luxury while still in their 50s

Don't agree? According to OpenSecrets.org, 12 of the 20 biggest spenders on public elections since 1989 have been unions. In just the 2008 election alone, unions spent $400 million dollars. Virtually all of it went to Democrats...

How confident are they in their candidate?...

"According to Erich Heyssel, who was attempting to film a Coakley campaign event, “While filming at a Martha Coakley event I was approached by two men holding a 4×8 sign. They proceeded to hold the sign up in my line of sight, I tried to move, and was continuously blocked by these men and their sign.”

Heyssel continued, “The situation escalated as they forcibly held me in place by wrapping the sign around me.”

Dan Tripp, the project leader for Americans for Limited Government Foundation’s coverage of the Massachusetts special election, defended Heyssel, saying, “Martha Coakley needs to calm down her bullies.”

Tripp said “things could get ugly out there tomorrow as tensions rise in this close election. As we seek to identify, publicize and prevent election fraud tomorrow, I have instructed my crews to travel in teams. If Erich had been alone, this could have been worse.”

The above video on You-Tube reminded me of what we saw this year at the 2009 Buena Vista Labor Day Parade where numerous Creigh Deeds (D) supporters blatantly blocked the Republican Candidates for Virginia Governor signs with their Democratic Party candidates (Creigh Deeds) signs...
.
And get this! The Democrat candidate who lost two local elections back to back in the Shenandoah Valley who writes a column for the Rockbridge Weekly paper even gave the Creigh Deeds supporters a "Bee-Vee" award as seen here...
.
This tactic was not limited to the Buena Vista parade and just the Deeds supporters. It also happened and was condoned by the workers of the Democratic Headquarters in Waynesboro as evident in this post...

Mr. Deeds, see any "Hint of racism" here?...

At a recent debate between the candidates running for Governor of Virginia, Democratic Party candidate Creigh Deeds stated that there "is a hint of racism that is crystal clear" regarding those who do not agree with President Obama...
.
I wonder if Deeds feels the same "hint of racism" when he looks at the actions of President Obama's Dept of Justice and the dismissal of charges against the individuals who were blocking and intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling place last year?...
.

The Washington Times has a follow up article of this incident and the actions of the Obama administration regarding the dismissal of charges...
.
"What say you" Mr. Deeds?...

David Cox and his "Bee~Vee" Awards...

David Cox, who recently has failed to attract enough support and votes to win elections to both State Senate and House of Delegates positions, has kept busy writing a column for the Rockbridge Weekly newspaper regarding local politics...
.

Just recently he has come up with the "Bee-Vee" awards regarding the events that occur during the annual Buena Vista Labor Day Parade which historically kicks off the final push towards election day in early November...
.

David Cox even came up with an award for the Political Sign Competition that happens every year during this parade between the two major political parties in the parade. Unfortunately it appears Cox views the actions of the Deeds campaign and the local Democratic party and their efforts to obstruct and block the view of the opposing party campaign signs as something worthy of a "Bee~Vee Award"...

"This year's winner of the Sign Wars is... Creigh Deeds, and the Dems. Both sides had thousands out. Republican Bob McDonnell came close to winning for having more big ones. But, reversing the old adage about early birds catching worms, the Deeds staffers crept in after their GOP counterparts and placed signs carefully in front of the Republican ones. Or perching atop them."

"Creigh's (Deeds) Army wins the first annual Sign Wars Award"...

David Cox as reported in AFP...

.

More photos and text regarding the "Sign abuse" that David Cox celebrates and awards can be found here...

.

This display of Dirty Campaign tactics was noticed by many attending the parade along with the media outlets and in fact several even wrote into the Rockbridge Weekly to comment of these tactics...

Letter to the Rockbridge Weekly by a local resident can be found here...

.

It is obvious that the voters of the Rockbridge and surrounding areas made the correct choice during the prior elections regarding David Cox and his values...

Where is the ACLU?....

The Washington Times has an article reporting that the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights is demanding why the Obama Justice Department recently dismissed the charges against three Black Panther members who obstructed voters during the last election.

.

Its a good read but the real question is "Where is the ACLU" on this issue and clear use of voter intimidation in Philadelphia?...

Maybe Obama needs to have a beer with these guys?...

The Washington Times has an informative article today regarding how the Obama Justice department dropped all charges against the three New Black Panther members who were video taped intimidating voters in Philadelphia during the last presidential election...

.

Turns out the No. 3 official in the Obama Justice department, Associate Attorney General Thomas Perrelli, made ultimately approved the decision to drop the charges against the guys in the above video...
.
.
"Mr. Perrelli, a prominent private practice attorney, served previously as a counsel to Attorney General Janet Reno in the Clinton administration and was an Obama supporter who raised more than $500,000 for the Democrat candidate in the 2008 elections. He authorized a delay to give department officials more time to decide what to do, said officials familiar with the case but not authorized to discuss it publicly. He eventually approved the decision to drop charges against three of the four defendants, they said."
.
Remember this from the campaign?
.
"While the Obama administration has vowed a new era of openness, department officials have refused to answer questions from Republican members of Congress on why the case was dismissed, claiming the information was "privileged," according to congressional correspondence with the department."
.
"If showing a weapon, making threatening statements and wearing paramilitary uniforms in front of polling station doors does not constitute voter intimidation, at what threshold of activity would these laws be enforceable?" Mr. Wolf asked.
.
Here comes an interesting part...
What happens after Nov. 15th, 2015?
.
"The injunction prohibits Mr. Samir Shabazz from brandishing a weapon outside a polling place through Nov. 15, 2012, and Ms. Schmaler said the department "will fully enforce the terms of that injunction."
.
"Stephen R. Morse, a blogger hired by Republicans to be at the polls and who videotaped the confrontation, said the NBPP members blatantly used racial insults on would-be voters and other poll watchers, telling one man, "Cracker, you about to be ruled by a black man."
.
Anybody want to sit in on that "Beer" in the Rose Garden?...

Creigh "Dirty" Deeds gets himself a "Slash-man"?...

.

Virginia Virtucon has an interesting story on how Creigh "Dirty" Deeds has gotten himself a new Political Director that comes with a history of voter obstruction\intimidation. It seems that Levar Stoney may not have performed the actual slashing of the tires to 100 vans rented by the GOP to take voters to the polls, but he did have knowledge of those who did when the "Cops came a calling"...

.

.

And now Creigh Deeds has decided to bring this guy on as his Political Director. Is this what we have to look forward to this election? Yes Levar Stoney may not have known about the plans to slash the tires(?) but he did hide the facts of who did when the police first came to investigate and only rolled over once the FBI "came a calling"...

.

And to show what type of campaign we are talking about take a look at two of the "Slashers" that were caught performing this form of voter obstruction...

.

The men charged with flattening 40 tires include Michael Pratt, 32, the son of former Acting Mayor Marvin Pratt, and Sowande A. Omokunde, 25, the son of U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Milwaukee).
.
Sounds like the way they run campaigns out in "Chicago-land"....

"Banned from taking a weapon to a polling place?"...

Take a minute and half to watch the above video of three individuals claiming to be "security" at a polling place in Philadelphia during the last presidential election. All three of these individuals were charged with VOTER INTIMIDATION by career Dept of Justice workers but those charges have now been dropped by the new political wing of the Dept headed by Attorney General Eric Holder who was appointed by Obama...

IBD reports that the charges were dropped and the individual with the nightstick in the above video cant bring his weapons to the polling places anymore!!!

"Two had their lawsuit dismissed with no penalty imposed, while the third man was banned from taking a weapon to a polling place in the future. Records indicate that the three men had refused to appear in court."

Voter Intimidation?...

.
During the last four election days at the Stuarts Draft polling place I have had the same older gentleman challenge the placement of campaign signs outside of the polling place entrance door. The first year he was very adamant about the placement of the signs and the "Republican" volunteers outside of the "No Campaigning" zone but did not question placement of the single "Democratic" volunteer or her signs. I took the opportunity to show this older gentleman the above sign positioned by the polling workers and that none of the campaign signs or volunteers were anywhere within this restricted zone...
It happens every election day since and I still instruct the older gentleman to read the sign...

Yesterday it was reported that the Voter Intimidation case regarding the incident that happened during the 2008 Presidential election in Philadelphia showing members of the Black Panthers outside of a polling place, one brandishing a night stick and "violated the 1965 Voting Rights Act by scaring would-be voters with the weapon, racial slurs and military-style uniforms" has now been dismissed.

"Justice Department political appointees overruled career lawyers and ended a civil complaint accusing three members of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense of wielding a nightstick and intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling place last Election Day, according to documents and interviews."

The Washington Times ask a interesting question in: What if there were KU Klux Klan members and they stood outside of polling places in military uniforms, with nightsticks, confronting voters arriving to the polling place?...

"The flip side of this scenario is occurring right now. The culprits weren't Klansmen; they belonged to the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense. One of the defendants, Jerry Jackson, is an elected member of Philadelphia's 14th Ward Democratic Committee and was a credentialed poll watcher for Barack Obama and the Democratic Party when the violations occurred. Rather conveniently, the Obama administration has asked that the cases against Mr. Jackson, two other defendants and the party be dropped."
