I got a call from a local business that has always supported the campaigns in the past requesting signs for the upcoming election...

Stopped by today and was impressed by the message I found on the sign out front...

Let's look at the "Rotten Acorn" ~Voter Fraud~

Interesting information found while searching for "Voter Fraud" articles. Many connections made to the orginzation "ACORN" which can be found here...

"Acorn and its affiliates have pulled some real stunts in recent years. In Ohio in 2004, a worker for one affiliate was given crack cocaine in exchange for fraudulent registrations that included underage voters, dead voters and pillars of the community named Mary Poppins, Dick Tracy and Jive Turkey. During a Congressional hearing in Ohio in the aftermath of the 2004 election, officials from several counties in the state explained Acorn's practice of dumping thousands of registration forms in their lap on the submission deadline, even though the forms had been collected months earlier."

"The Seattle Times adds that the announcement of criminal charges came after the King County Canvassing Board revoked 1,762 allegedly fraudulent voter registrations submitted by ACORN employees."
"According to prosecutors, six ACORN workers “had admitted filling out registration forms with names they found in phone books last October. The canvassers filled out the forms while sitting around a table at the downtown Seattle Public Library.”
"A recent Pew Research Center survey found that blacks today are almost twice as likely as they were in 2004 to say they have little or no confidence in the voting system. Such a finding would seem like a powerful argument for voter ID laws, which consistently poll well among people of all races and incomes and would increase confidence in the voting process. Of course, voter ID laws would also cut down on fraud, which, judging from the latest indictments, would put a real crimp in Acorn’s style."

"In Orange County, ACORN staffers submitted multiple, duplicate registrations on behalf of six separate voters this summer. One individual had 21 duplicate applications. Election Supervisor Bill Cowles and his staff protested, noting in a June memo that ACORN had been submitting sloppy forms as well.
ACORN, or the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, changed procedures, disciplined some staffers and improved relations with Orange. ACORN has signed up 135,000 new Florida voters since January in just three counties: Orange, Broward and Miami-Dade.
That's a fifth of all new voters. More than 58 percent are Democrats, who now outnumber Republicans by almost 500,000 voters -- providing Barack Obama a potentially crucial edge in the neck-and-neck race in Florida."

Woo-Hoo "Two-Day mini-vacation"!!!...

Back a couple weeks ago Democratic Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi and her Democratic Party House cohorts, decided to take their FIVE WEEK vacation while the unresolved energy crisis remained on the House floor. Fortunately many Republican Representatives, including Congressman Bob Goodlatte 6th district, remained daily on the House floor debating the energy crisis that the American citizens and taxpayers pay them to do. Nancy and gang took the whole FIVE WEEKS off while taxpayers and workers faced gas pumps with $4+ per gallon price tags. And by the look of things it appears she had a pretty goodtime..







Today after seeing their "solution" to the banking crisis evaporate with a house vote, Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has shut down the House of Representatives once again without a working solution to yet another crisis...
