Senator Allen's visit to Weyers Cave Airport...

Weyers Cave, VA.

Senator George Allen flew into the Weyers Cave Airport today to meet with 160+ supporters who gathered to hear him speak on a cool, crisp, day in Virginia. With him he brought Senator Thune who was very interesting to listen to as well as an outstanding addition to the Republican Senate. Congressman Bob Goodlatte spoke for a short time and showed why we have two strong representatives of Virginia in Senator Allen and himself. Lt. Governor Bill Bolling did a great job at getting the crowd energized and proud to be from Virginia and Attorney General Bob McDonnell did the same. Delegates Matt Loher and Ben Cline were also in attendance and completed a strong showing of the Republican Party of Virginia...

The airport staff did a fine job of helping to make this a special event for all who attended.

Senator Thune gave a very good introduction of Senator Allen and I hope to be able to hear Senator Thune speak again some day. Senator Allen spoke of the importance of the war on terrorism as well as many important issues that involve all who live in Virginia and the United States. He spoke of the importance of developing our natural resources and the use of Bio-Diesel in the immediate farmland of our county. Senator Allen once again spoke of issues directly about Virginia and it's citizens. Something his Democratic challenger has failed to do on many occasions. He spoke of the numerous things he did as the States Governor as well as our Senator. I believe if the MainScream media would have presented these facts and asked the hard questions of the Democratic candidate this race would have been over a long time ago. Instead the media never really did there job, got easily sidetracked by the "Wing-nuts", and thus did a great dis-service to the citizens of Virginia...

Unfortunately the event had to be interrupted by a known Liberal Blogger who has history of making noise so as to attract attention to himself. Mike Stark has made a name for himself for being a "Vast-Left-Wing-Nut" and has shown his lack of integrity several times in the past. Last week he was removed from another Allen event after he pushed past several people attending the event and went directly towards the Senator. Stark stated that he was only attempting to ask the Senator a question but it is evident in the video that he "Shouldered" the person in front of him hard and had to be removed from that event.

Stark showed up at todays event with what appeared to be a "Chip on his shoulder" and conducted himself in a very arrogant manner. He pushed past me several times while I was listening to the Senator(s) and while I was taking photos of the event. As Senator Allen was finishing his speech Stark became loud yelling questions at the Senator as he was leaving. Many in the crowd began to chant "Six More Years" over and over. Stark then darted thru the crowd and I had to help a Mother move her two young children out of the way of Stark before they got hurt. Stark then ran into a woman attending the event and knocked her into a camera stand in the middle of the room. Stark then continued to push towards the Senator at which time he ran into another person knocking the man to the floor. This incident happened directly in front of a Sheriff's Deputy who was within 6-8 feet and who then took Stark into custody and removed him from the terminal.

Stark once again showed his arrogance when the Sheriff's Deputy had to put him into the patrol car...

The blogger "Spank That Donkey" was also in attendance and made the following report on the incident on his blog with additional photos of the incident...

I wonder what the UVA honor court would have to say about a student who is known to be harassing legitimate govenment figgures and know has had a run in with the law? He should be booted from the University. I really don't want my tax dollars supporting his education.

Having some roots in SoDak, I would have loved to have heard Sen. Thune speak. We all owe him for redeploying Little Tommy.
Thanks for the report.

Senator Thune did an outstanding job and it was incredible to listen to Allen, Thune, Bolling, McDonnell, Loher, and the rest. These are the VA Republicans and exactly what we need to keep the valley in the right direction...

Seems your "eye-witness" account doesn't hold much water to this video:

The kid obviously chases after Stark then takes a poorly masked dive without being touched.

Where in the video do you see Stark near the "Kid". I cant see where Stark runs over the kid or where Stark is no where near the "Kid". I do know a Sheriff's Deputy say something that made him take Stark into custody and place him into restraints for his action. Are you claiming that the Sheriff's Deputy is a Repub-Hack also?

Do you see in the video where Stark was no where near the Kid? All the videos that I have seen do not show Stark "missing" the "kid"...

In the video you can see the kid chase after Stark, then at the very end you see the kid take a dive without being touched...but whatever...
You know what?...I could really give 2 spits about Stark.

I guess by this evening, or tomorrow, or soon...we will know if the pendulum has swung back toward the center as has been forecast.

What's your take on the voter suppression efforts being reported throughout the nation, and in Virginia in particular?

What? Has this place gone radio silence...can't face the world?

Nope you're right...we don't have to face the world anymore. Your party inherited that problem. Are you all ready to do it? We're prepared to sit ringside and watch the best episodes of the 2007 Liberal Follies that have come to VHS in a loooong time. Because, as Flora McDonald says, "Nothing is funnier, or more illustrative of why conservative principles and values work than watching liberals fail trying to govern with liberal policies and values."

Are you ready to step up to the challenge. Have fun facing the ridicule of the world, and the admiration of Iraqi extremists.

That does seem to your default way out, doesn't it Zen? Instead of simply acknowledging the truth of our statements, after all--YOU ALL WON!!!--you continue to incite, whine, and ignore the truth that is staring you in the face. Do you see us whining about the loss? Oh that's right, we're not. WE won. Virginia, sadly, did not. But you still will not accept that fact. And therein is the great trap.
