Waynesboro Republican Party Headquarters ~Opening~
Lt. Governor Bill Bolling delivered an inspiring speech regarding the upcoming elections in November as well as important elections of 2009.
He was interrupted at one point where he announced after looking at Blackberry that MSNBC had just reported Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain had just announced Mitt Romney as his Vice-President running mate...
The Lt. Governor then checked CNN and informed the crowd that they also just reported that John McCain had announced his running mate but that it was Tim Pawlenty from Minnesota...
This resulted in the Lt. Governor jumping over to FoxNews for confirmation at which time he happily informed the crowd that John McCain had just announced Bill Bolling from Virginia as his actual running mate...
Augusta County Republican Election Guide...
I recently had the opportunity to peruse the new Republican Election guide designed, developed, and provided by the new Augusta County Republican Committee and found it to be of outstanding quality and accuracy…
Yankee Phil has some nice scans of the tri-fold that show the quality of this piece which will be a valuable tool to the candidates, their campaigns, and the voters of Augusta County.
I admit I had reservations of the “new” AC Republican Committee after the recent “mass meeting” and it’s outcome and installation of a new executive committee, but this is the work of several dedicated members of the Republican party and their desire to advance the Republican Party and its candidates…
It is refreshing and encouraging to see members of this “new” committee to step up and produce an item that will aid in informing the public for the upcoming elections…
