The Security and Validity of Our Voting System... "The Dead Goldfish Vote"...

.

TownHall.com now has a story of how a dead Goldfish in Chicago was mailed "Voter Registration Material"... Obviously the "Dead" goldfish did not return the application and fortunately the pet owner did not either. The issue is the security and validity of our voting system...

"I am just stunned at the level of people compromising the integrity of the voting process," said Lake County Clerk Willard Helander, a Republican, who said she has spotted problems with nearly 1,000 voter registrations this year.

We have all read and heard about the incidents were questionable voting practices are being used by organizations such as A.C.O.R.N., and this is just another example of problems with our voting system... Unfortunately each time a bill is submitted to require that all voters, including dead goldfish, present a photo I.D. at time of voting, our elected Congress people vote down this requirement.

Think of all of the past elections where the "Dead People" of Chicago turned out and voted? Think of all the people such as Mickey Mouse, John Dillinger, starting line-up of the Dallas Cowboys, and the likes have already been registered to vote in this election. Fortunately "Mickey and Minnie" will probably(?) not be allowed to vote on election day, but how many "other" people will be allowed to vote? How many people will show up at the polling place this election voting under other peoples name since they are not required to identify themselves in a proper manner? How many absentee ballots have been requested and returned with a vote cast without the actual knowledge of the person registered? How many absentee ballots were cast by people who were registered the same day\time by people who were bused in?
