Came along this toon a few years back after a thrashing of the Democrat party by the GOP and hopes are I will be posting it again in November. After seven years of Obama and his administration, including Hillary as Secretary of State, The people are fed up with the Dems and their actions.
I myself think we are looking at another GOP victory like the one back when the people were fed up with Jimmy Carter and his weakness. Reagan inspired the people to "Make America Great" once again and with that we had a long run of growth in the economy as well as strength in America leadership...
Obama with the backing and support of the Democrat party, has taken this country in a direction that people could only imagine but now have witnessed it. Failed economy and incredible rise in national debt was only part of the history. We also are more divided than before he took office because of his actions and policies. And not just politically. We are divided by race, sex, religion, and a relentless 7 years of income inequality division whenever needed by the democrats. Instead of leading the country Obama chose to divide and punish whenever possible.
But it's not a clear Republican vs. Democrat run this time around as it should be. Instead we have increased infighting within the Republican party both on national and local levels. It is obvious that we have friction between the "establishment" GOP and the candidates who are also fed up watching the country torn apart by Obama's actions. That and the lack of action by many in the House & Senate to stop and correct Obama's efforts.
The voters gave the House & Senate majorities to the GOP only to see weak or non-existent action to rein in Obama. Speaker of the House Boehner was weak and it was obvious that he left the Conservative faction of the GOP on the sideline to watch our America lost. Politics is a game of plays & tactics and this was proven when Boehner punished those who voted against him once he won the Speaker position again. The way I saw it if my representative wanted to keep his chairmanship he knew he had to vote for the speaker again. And he did to my disappointment...
This friction is also apparent at the local level were committees and their members jockey for position of power and recognition. I have been away from the local committees for awhile but it seems the same players are active in their efforts to control the committee members and voters. Some are no longer "members" of local or State committees but are still active in the background working for their own power and recognition. Unfortunately we have all seen the effects and results of people who destroyed parties because of power trips & ego's instead of supporting conservative and constitutional efforts. This BS is how we lose good and valuable conservative voters at a time when we need them most. We need strong leadership on all levels...
Remember after the last seven years "It's the Republicans race to lose"...
