Stuarts Draft Fireman's Parade ~2009~

Yesterday was the "Fireman's Parade" during the three day Stuarts Draft Fireman's Parade and Lawn Party held each year this time of year. It has become a great opportunity for the Republican Candidates to meet with and spend time with one of the strongest Republican districts within Augusta County. The Southriver district is made up of Lyndhurst, Sherando, and Stuarts Draft but this annual parade attracts people from all over the county and Waynesboro\Staunton...

Once again there was a strong showing of energized Republican\Conservative volunteers who turned out to help set up the float, walk the parade float, and talk with citizens of Augusta already taking interest in the upcoming Virginia elections in November...

and Delegate Steve Landes...

Staff Sergeant First Class John C. Beale

Killed in action the week before, the body of Staff Sergeant First Class John C. Beale was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City, Georgia, just south of Atlanta, on June 11, 2009. The Henry County Police Department escorted the procession to the funeral home in McDonough, Georgia. A simple notice in local papers indicated the road route to be taken and the approximate time."


"Nowadays one can be led to believe that America no longer respects honor and no longer honors sacrifice outside the military. Be it known that there are many places in this land where people still recognize the courage and impact of total self-sacrifice. Georgia remains one of those graceful places. The Washington Times reports that Joe Biden will be coming to VA to help out Deeds with his campaign...

Good deal boys.

Stop by the Valley and I will be glad to take the V.P. and Deeds to my local 7-eleven for a "cup of Joe" just to see how Biden handles the girls that work at our 7-eleven.
