Al Franken and his "felon" friends?....

Mr. President, "Surprised, disappointed, and angry"?...

That is what was reported coming from the President and his administration...

The document, acquired by a well-placed US source, threatens to undermine US President Barack Obama's claim last week that all Americans were "surprised, disappointed and angry" to learn of Megrahi's release.

The note added: "Nevertheless, if Scottish authorities come to the conclusion that Megrahi must be released from Scottish custody, the US position is that conditional release on compassionate grounds would be a far preferable alternative to prisoner transfer, which we strongly oppose."

But then there were these statements coming out of the Obama Adminstration in August 2009

"It's the policy of this administration as enunciated ... by Secretary of State [Hillary] Clinton, that this individual should serve out his term where he's serving it right now," said White House spokesman Robert Gibbs.

What happened to just blaming everything on BP?...
