So why is Obama outsourcing our jobs?... "Obamalogic"?...

So now we have President Obama striving to outsource our oil\natural gas exploration, drilling, and production jobs to Brazil while his administration continues to block such jobs right here in America by continuing the moritorium...
.

“It is beyond comprehension the administration would encourage trade for Brazilian oil while obstructing U.S. oil and natural gas development, eliminating related jobs here at home, and decreasing oil and natural gas revenues to the U.S. Treasury when the government is trillions of dollars in debt. The message from the White House to America’s oil and natural gas workers: we’re going to outsource your job.

“The administration is missing the obvious: what makes sense for Brazil also makes sense for the United States. Like every other nation, we should be developing our own oil and natural gas resources. It’s good for energy security, good for the economy, good for jobs, and it will help bring down our deficit.

“The administration says it supports more oil and natural gas development here in the United States, then at every turn discourages it. And today, the White House is making a deal with Brazil for the oil it is not allowing companies to produce here. There’s nothing wrong with buying Brazilian oil, but there’s a big problem when we’re forced to because we’re held back from producing our own.”

WASHINGTON, February __ – API President and CEO Jack Gerard said the administration’s offer to exchange batteries for oil from Brazil reflects its inadequate and illogical energy policy:

Just another example of "Obamalogic"?...

"Another Obama favor for unions"...

Barely 15 percent of all construction-industry workers in the United States are union members, while the remaining 85 percent are nonunion, according to the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics. So why has President Obama signed Executive Order 13502 directing federal agencies taking bids for government construction projects to accept only those from contractors who agree in advance to a project labor agreement that requires a union work force?

Just plain tired...

"I'm 63 and Im Tired"
by Robert A. Hall

I'm 63. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I've worked, hard, since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven't called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn't inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there's no retirement in sight, and I'm tired. Very tired.

I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.

I'm tired of being told that I have to pay more taxes to "keep people in their homes." Sure, if they lost their jobs or got sick, I'm willing to help. But if they bought McMansions at three times the price of our paid-off, $250,000 condo, on one-third of my salary, then let the left-wing Congress-critters who passed Fannie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act that created the bubble help them with their own money.

I'm tired of being told how bad America is by left-wing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros and Hollywood Entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities America offers. In thirty years, if they get their way, the United States will have the economy of Zimbabwe , the freedom of the press of China , the crime and violence of Mexico , the tolerance for Christian people of Iran , and the freedom of speech of Venezuela .

I'm tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren't "believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and Shari'a law tells them to.

I'm tired of being told that "race doesn't matter" in the post-racial world of Obama, when it's all that matters in affirmative action jobs, lower college admission and graduation standards for minorities (harming them the most), government contract set-asides, tolerance for the ghetto culture of violence and fatherless children that hurts minorities more than anyone, and in the appointment of U.S. Senators from Illinois.

I think it's very cool that we have a black president and that a black child is doing her homework at the desk where Lincoln wrote the Emancipation Proclamation. I just wish the black president was Condi Rice, or someone who believes more in freedom and the individual and less arrogantly of an all-knowing government.

I'm tired of a news media that thinks Bush's fundraising and inaugural expenses were obscene, but that think Obama's, at triple the cost, were wonderful; that thinks Bush exercising daily was a waste of presidential time, but Obama exercising is a great example for the public to control weight and stress; that picked over every line of Bush's military records, but never demanded that Kerry release his; that slammed Palin, with two years as governor, for being too inexperienced for VP, but touted Obama with three years as senator as potentially the best president ever. Wonder why people are dropping their subscriptions or switching to Fox News? Get a clue. I didn't vote for Bush in 2000, but the media and Kerry drove me to his camp in 2004.

I'm tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money to fund mosques and madrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in America , while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia to teach love and tolerance.

I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate. My wife and I live in a two-bedroom apartment and carpool together five miles to our jobs. We also own a three-bedroom condo where our daughter and granddaughter live. Our carbon footprint is about 5% of Al Gore's, and if you're greener than Gore, you're green enough.

I'm tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I don't think Gay people choose to be Gay, but I damn sure think druggies chose to take drugs. And I'm tired of harassment from cool people treating me like a freak when I tell them I never tried marijuana.

I'm tired of illegal aliens being called "undocumented workers," especially the ones who aren't working, but are living on welfare or crime. What's next? Calling drug dealers, "Undocumented Pharmacists"? And, no, I'm not against Hispanics. Most of them are Catholic, and it's been a few hundred years since Catholics wanted to kill me for my religion. I'm willing to fast track for citizenship any Hispanic person, who can speak English, doesn't have a criminal record and who is self-supporting without family on welfare, or who serves honorably for three years in our military.... Those are the citizens we need.

I'm tired of latte liberals and journalists, who would never wear the uniform of the Republic themselves, or let their entitlement-handicapped kids near a recruiting station, trashing our military. They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second decisions under life and death circumstances, and bad mouth better people than themselves. Do bad things happen in war? You bet. Do our troops sometimes misbehave? Sure. Does this compare with the atrocities that were the policy of our enemies for the last fifty years and still are? Not even close. So here's the deal. I'll let myself be subjected to all the humiliation and abuse that was heaped on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity by the Muslims, who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian. Then we'll compare notes. British and American soldiers are the only troops in history that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from in fear.

I'm tired of people telling me that their party has a corner on virtue and the other party has a corner on corruption. Read the papers; bums are bipartisan. And I'm tired of people telling me we need bipartisanship. I live in Illinois , where the "Illinois Combine" of Democrats has worked to loot the public for years. Not to mention the tax cheats in Obama's cabinet.

I'm tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

Speaking of poor, I'm tired of hearing people with air-conditioned homes, color TVs and two cars called poor. The majority of Americans didn't have that in 1970, but we didn't know we were "poor." The poverty pimps have to keep changing the definition of poor to keep the dollars flowing.

I'm real tired of people who don't take responsibility for their lives and actions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination or big-whatever for their problems.

Yes, I'm damn tired. But I'm also glad to be 63. Because, mostly, I'm not going to have to see the world these people are making. I'm just sorry for my granddaughter.

Mudcat... Is that more "Rednecks" per square mile or percapita?.... What kind of campaign is Deeds running?...

While working in Harrisonburg yesterday all of the talk was how President Jimmy Carter was coming to JMU to speak and receive a award for his humanitarian works over the years. Several of my co-workers were excited to have the former President coming to town but they did not seem to want to discuss Carter's comments recently where he made it apparent that he feels those who do not support President Obama and his policies are racist in their attitudes. "There is a feeling among many in this country that an African-American should not be President"...

So in effect if I do not support President Obama's take over of General Motors, a failed Stimulus package, plans to take over\regulate the health care industry, and massive growth and spending in government agencies, I am a "Racist"?...
.
Then I get home only to find that longtime Democratic Strategist David "Mudcat" Saunders stated that there are "More Rednecks on route 1 in Alexandria than the sixth district of Virginia"... in a strategy call with operatives and the campaign of Creigh Deeds who is running for Governor of Virginia...
.

Besides the obvious "racist" comment made by "Mudcat" to the campaign workers of Creigh Deeds campaign, the question now is: What kind of campaign is Creigh Deeds running and what will they do next?
.
Creigh Deeds early on in his campaign brought on a political strategist Levar Stoney who was involved in a incident during the Kerry\Edwards campaign where he knew of operatives responsible for slashing the tires on vehicles rented by the local GOP to take voters to polling places. He only admitted knowledge of this incident once the FBI came a calling and now Creigh Deeds has this guy working on his campaign to become the Governor of Virginia?....
.
.
And let's not forget the efforts by the Creigh Deeds campaign in blocking up to 90% of the Bob McDonnell and GOP campaign signs with Deeds campaign signs during the recent Buena Vista Labor Day parade. This was more than simple "Sign Wars" tactics but a blatant act of desperation from a campaign that will do anything to promote their candidate. In fact another local Democratic Party candidate in the past, David Cox, has even awarded these tactics with his "Bee-Vee" award for winning the "Sign War" at the Buena Vista parade...
Fortunately this was viewed by many at the parade and within the media for what it was and showed how the citizens and voters of Virginia are tired of "Dirty politics" and tactics like these...

.
.
Just last week Creigh Deeds showed his frustration with his performances during the debates with Republican Bob Mcdonnell when he snapped at a reporter who was trying to pin Deeds down on taxes and where he was going to get revenue for all of his proposed spending projects...

We have all been asking for sometime "When will they ask Deeds the hard questions" and we now see how he reacts once pressed on how he intends to fund all of these "Progressive" ideas he would implement if elected Governor...

.

Numerous times Deeds has said that he would give tax credits for any business that creates a new job but many in the media and news services have failed to ask Deeds how would he fund this and what restrictions on a "New Job"?....

.

What type of "Job"?

Full time & Part time?

How long at Job?

How much of a "credit"?

How long will this program last?

Are "Undocumented" workers hired eligible?

In all industries or a select few?...

Are "Rednecks", as Mudcat Saunders describes them, eligible?...

Mr. Deeds, see any "Hint of racism" here?...

At a recent debate between the candidates running for Governor of Virginia, Democratic Party candidate Creigh Deeds stated that there "is a hint of racism that is crystal clear" regarding those who do not agree with President Obama...
.
I wonder if Deeds feels the same "hint of racism" when he looks at the actions of President Obama's Dept of Justice and the dismissal of charges against the individuals who were blocking and intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling place last year?...
.

The Washington Times has a follow up article of this incident and the actions of the Obama administration regarding the dismissal of charges...
.
"What say you" Mr. Deeds?...

After 200 days in office... The people are starting to see the truth...

Where is the ACLU?....

The Washington Times has an article reporting that the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights is demanding why the Obama Justice Department recently dismissed the charges against three Black Panther members who obstructed voters during the last election.

.

Its a good read but the real question is "Where is the ACLU" on this issue and clear use of voter intimidation in Philadelphia?...

Maybe Obama needs to have a beer with these guys?...

The Washington Times has an informative article today regarding how the Obama Justice department dropped all charges against the three New Black Panther members who were video taped intimidating voters in Philadelphia during the last presidential election...

.

Turns out the No. 3 official in the Obama Justice department, Associate Attorney General Thomas Perrelli, made ultimately approved the decision to drop the charges against the guys in the above video...
.
.
"Mr. Perrelli, a prominent private practice attorney, served previously as a counsel to Attorney General Janet Reno in the Clinton administration and was an Obama supporter who raised more than $500,000 for the Democrat candidate in the 2008 elections. He authorized a delay to give department officials more time to decide what to do, said officials familiar with the case but not authorized to discuss it publicly. He eventually approved the decision to drop charges against three of the four defendants, they said."
.
Remember this from the campaign?
.
"While the Obama administration has vowed a new era of openness, department officials have refused to answer questions from Republican members of Congress on why the case was dismissed, claiming the information was "privileged," according to congressional correspondence with the department."
.
"If showing a weapon, making threatening statements and wearing paramilitary uniforms in front of polling station doors does not constitute voter intimidation, at what threshold of activity would these laws be enforceable?" Mr. Wolf asked.
.
Here comes an interesting part...
What happens after Nov. 15th, 2015?
.
"The injunction prohibits Mr. Samir Shabazz from brandishing a weapon outside a polling place through Nov. 15, 2012, and Ms. Schmaler said the department "will fully enforce the terms of that injunction."
.
"Stephen R. Morse, a blogger hired by Republicans to be at the polls and who videotaped the confrontation, said the NBPP members blatantly used racial insults on would-be voters and other poll watchers, telling one man, "Cracker, you about to be ruled by a black man."
.
Anybody want to sit in on that "Beer" in the Rose Garden?...

"Cap & Trade" Who really won...

.

"When Gore left office in January 2001, he was said to have a net worth in the neighborhood of $2 million. A mere eight years later, estimates are that he is now worth about $100 million. It seems it's easy being green, at least for some."

"Banned from taking a weapon to a polling place?"...

Take a minute and half to watch the above video of three individuals claiming to be "security" at a polling place in Philadelphia during the last presidential election. All three of these individuals were charged with VOTER INTIMIDATION by career Dept of Justice workers but those charges have now been dropped by the new political wing of the Dept headed by Attorney General Eric Holder who was appointed by Obama...

IBD reports that the charges were dropped and the individual with the nightstick in the above video cant bring his weapons to the polling places anymore!!!

"Two had their lawsuit dismissed with no penalty imposed, while the third man was banned from taking a weapon to a polling place in the future. Records indicate that the three men had refused to appear in court."

Voter Intimidation?...

.
During the last four election days at the Stuarts Draft polling place I have had the same older gentleman challenge the placement of campaign signs outside of the polling place entrance door. The first year he was very adamant about the placement of the signs and the "Republican" volunteers outside of the "No Campaigning" zone but did not question placement of the single "Democratic" volunteer or her signs. I took the opportunity to show this older gentleman the above sign positioned by the polling workers and that none of the campaign signs or volunteers were anywhere within this restricted zone...
It happens every election day since and I still instruct the older gentleman to read the sign...

Yesterday it was reported that the Voter Intimidation case regarding the incident that happened during the 2008 Presidential election in Philadelphia showing members of the Black Panthers outside of a polling place, one brandishing a night stick and "violated the 1965 Voting Rights Act by scaring would-be voters with the weapon, racial slurs and military-style uniforms" has now been dismissed.

"Justice Department political appointees overruled career lawyers and ended a civil complaint accusing three members of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense of wielding a nightstick and intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling place last Election Day, according to documents and interviews."

The Washington Times ask a interesting question in: What if there were KU Klux Klan members and they stood outside of polling places in military uniforms, with nightsticks, confronting voters arriving to the polling place?...

"The flip side of this scenario is occurring right now. The culprits weren't Klansmen; they belonged to the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense. One of the defendants, Jerry Jackson, is an elected member of Philadelphia's 14th Ward Democratic Committee and was a credentialed poll watcher for Barack Obama and the Democratic Party when the violations occurred. Rather conveniently, the Obama administration has asked that the cases against Mr. Jackson, two other defendants and the party be dropped."

What if they just stopped producing, investing, and "footing" the bill?...

.

A local Augusta County buisnessman has added two new 4x8 signs to the side of one of his buildings to give drivers and passer-by's something to think about regarding the economic situation the country is now in.
Who is John Galt? refers to a book published back in 1957 and has always been in print but sales have gone through the roof since the "Obama Election" and now that people get to see the direction that this administration may take this country and it's economy...

The signs and business belongs to Blue Ridge Lumber Company which is a "small business" operator and a perfect example of what the above question "Where is John Galt" refers to...

Small and local business operators like Blue Ridge Lumber are the backbone of our economy and are the major contributors to hiring increases and the economic recovery we seek. Government must not hinder these "John Galts" with taxes that burden the businesses and keep them from investing, growing, and expanding in the community...

President Obama makes the correct call...

I applaud President Obama for making the correct call and approving the plan of using our highly skilled military (SEAL) forces to take out the pirates who were holding a American citizen off the coast of Somalia.

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama twice authorized the military to rescue a U.S. captain held by Somali pirates and whose life appeared to be at risk.

Like many I hope President Obama follows through and goes after the numerous camps and locations on land to pursue the "Terrorists". And they are just that, TERRORISTS, and needed to be treated as such. I just hope he does not look at this incident as a "Criminal offense" and treats it as one the same way President Clinton treated the first attack on the World Trade Center...

Obama warns North Korea not to Launch Missile...

.

President Obama issued a stern warning to North Korea today, saying that it cannot go ahead with the planned launch of a long-range rocket with impunity.

"Should North Korea decide to take this action, we will work with all interested partners in the international community to take appropriate steps to let North Korea know that they cannot threaten the safety and stability of other countries with impunity."
So how does North Korea respond to Obama's "Stern" warning?....

WEBB: "Obama wont take your guns"...

.

Back during the last Presidential campaign I recall hearing several radio messages from my Virginia Senator Jim Webb (D) telling me that Obama supports my gun rights and would not take them away from me…

Recently Virginia citizens with valid Concealed weapons permits have been allowed to carry their acceptable weapons in National Parks within Virginia as long as it was concealed and properly maintained. I am a avid hiker of the trails in Virginia and also a CWP holder and appreciated the ability to be able to defend myself while on the trail if needed. In my years of hiking the trails within Shenandoah National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway I have had many enjoyable hikes. Unfortunately I have also run into people on the trails who make it a habit to stay at the shelters on the trail during the weekends who tend to drink and become “Rowdy”…

Recently there was an individual who was convicted in killing two hikers many years ago and served time in prison for the crime. He was then released and in a very short time later he shot two other individuals on the trail very near the location he committed the murders of two hikers…

A federal judge has now blocked the ruling permitting law abiding Virginia citizens with proper concealed weapons permits from defending themselves while in the parks. Washington Post reports: “A federal judge yesterday blocked a last-minute rule enacted by President George W. Bush allowing visitors to national parks to carry concealed weapons.”

“She noted that the government justified its decision to forgo an environmental analysis on the grounds that the rule does not "authorize" environmental impacts. Calling this a "tautology," she wrote that officials "abdicated their Congressionally-mandated obligation" to evaluate environmental impacts and "ignored (without sufficient explanation) substantial information in the administrative record concerning environmental impacts" of the rule.”

“Bryan Faehner, associate director for park uses at the National Parks Conservation Association, said his group is "extremely pleased" with both the court decision and the fact that Interior is now conducting an internal review of the rule's environmental impact. "This decision by the courts reaffirms our concerns, and the concerns of park rangers across the country, that this new regulation . . . has serious impacts on the parks and increases the risk of opportunistic poaching of wildlife in the parks, and increases the risk to park visitors”…

Environmental impacts?… What environmental impact are they looking for? I can understand Park Rangers being worried about people carrying loaded weapons in the parks but here is the little secret that many Gun Control advocates ignore…
CRIMINALS DISREGARD GUN LAWS AND ARE SUCH THE ONLY ARMED INDIVIDUALS IN GUN FREE ZONES!!! Refer to the Virginia Tech incident and see what happened there…

Senator Webb… Any comment?…
