Americans for Prosperity Luncheon ~Richmond~

.
Enjoyed an incredible day in Richmond today attending the Americans for Prosperity luncheon with an impressive lineup of speakers talking about the economic future of the United States and Virginia.

Anytime you can have lunch and talk politics and economics with the likes of Virginia Lt. Governor Bill Bolling, VA State Senator Steve Martin, Va Delegates Bill Janis, Delegate Chris Saxman, and special guest speaker Former Lt. Governor of Maryland Michael Steele, it is definitely worth the ride from the Valley to Richmond.

Also experienced a very interesting session with the President & CEO of Dominion Power Tom Farrell who provided a interesting, informative, and yes urgent message about the energy use demands of the future in Virginia and the nation.

Also had the opportunity to meet AFPF Virginia Chairman Paul Harris who hosted the event which lasted 3 hours but felt like less then half of that for it was organized so well…

Lt. Governor Michael Steele & Trixie Averill

Americans for Prosperity Foundation Virginia Director Whitney Duff put together a impressive event and one that I will describe more in depth in future posts about each writer.
