Democratic Party Nomination Poll ~Iowa~

.

The Democratic Party voters of Iowa have now decided to support Obama over Hillary in the upcoming primary as per the recent ABC\Washington Post poll...

This poll indicates that the Democratic Party voters of Iowa would rather elect a candidate that refuses to salute\recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States, instead of a candidate who claims vast experience in the Oval office environment but will not release the documents to prove it…

I read that 5% of registered voters in Iowa participated in the last Iowa primary...

Don't know if they have voter registration so if that even 95% of registered Dems... are embarrassed to show up and be thought a Democrat?

or 5% of all registered voters voted in the Dem primary... either way, do these people give a rip?

Should we be bothering these people in the first place?

Should we enhance turnout by also offering an opportunity to decide by referendum "Do you Believe in UFO's"?

or "who should be the American Idol winner"?

How can you accurately poll anyone guessing who the hell the 5% that will show up will be?

I believe there will be more voters in this primary even if Bill & Hillary have to bus them in to vote!

The other two categories you mentioned will for sure attract more attention to the younger voters. That or a chance to be seen on YouTube...

You're giving these people a lot of credit... maybe the story is that the Dems are just as less excited about their choices as the Pubs?

That was actually the Star Sapngled Banner, not the Pledge of Allegiance, schmuck. Do you wake up each morning and decide what fact you feel like making up that day?

Dignan has responded with “the whole focus of every one of my comments is how this stat is irrelevant, and that you childlishly ignore the relevant statistics and ocnclusions of the scientific community“. but yet he will not explain or discuss documented data provided the same way Al Gore will not debate the global warming issue with scientist who provide data that does not agree with his agenda.

Simple. There are numerous reports that show a correlation between increased Sun activity and the changing temperature on Earth and other planets. Are these reports false or wrong? Are they being ignored because they do not fit the agenda and in fact provide alternate reasons for the increased temperature we are experiencing? Simple question but one that both Al Gore and Dignan will not address after repeated requests.

Instead Dignan has continued to attack Rightside and other commentators with claims that we are clinging to false reports and date but does not provide decisive information to disprove the reports\data. Dignan has also used insults and verbal attacks to sidetrack the issues at hand. These attacks and name calling towards Rightside have been allowed to show visitors to Rightside the integrity and actions of Dignan in his responses and statements. I will not allow these attacks towards other people commenting to Rightside just as I have asked people who have emailed me asking to “Give Dignan the same thing back” not to do so. By allowing Dignan to verbally attack Rightside and avoid the two questions asked, numerous times, shows readers to Rightside the integrity, maturity, and worth of Dignans replies to the subject at hand…

Thanks for your apology for making up facts about Obama refusing to cite the Pledge of Allegiance. Oh wait, of course you didn't.
You're just a shameless hack who fibs and then pretends it didn't happen. What a joke you are.

Apology needed for posting what was reported?

Provide info and link showing otherwise and as before it will be allowed for other visitors to Rightside to look at and decide for themselves...

Lies. It has been reported in the reliable press, as opposed to your sources, that the photo was taken during the national anthem. Just repeating someone else's lies does not make them true or excuse you. This is standard operating procedure for Republicans. One of you tells a lie and then the rest of you repeat it saying, "Hey, I'm not making this up!"

A video of the event in question, obtained by ABC News, shows Obama with his hands firmly clasped in front of him during the song. Meanwhile, rival Democratic candidates Gov. Bill Richardson (D-AZ) and Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) strike a traditional anthem pose beside him, holding their right hands over their hearts.
The conservative NewsBusters media watchdog group first reported on the story, linking to a Time Magazine photo of Obama at the event. "Does [Obama] perhaps believe that, like wearing the flag pin, the hand on the heart isn't "true patriotism?" asked the site's Mark Finkelstein.

"tradition" for whom? I learned to stand with my hands at my sides and sing the song; one places the hand over the heart for a pledge, including the pledge of allegiance; it sounds to me like you folks are beginning a smear campaign already. Swell.

If you are the same from two comments ago please go ahead and post a link explaining this photo or a statement by Obama as to how he feels about the pledge, anthem, or symbol of the country he wishes to be the President of.

"Tradition" as in 75% of the people on that stage during the pledge, anthem, music, etc. simple explanation of what the Senator believes in and practices. No "smear" campaign, just getting issues out there for discussion by both sides of each issue...

Issue? This is a phony issue drummed up as part of the right-wing lies. But you want discussion?

Here's a good summary of the facts:

This was a poor political maneuver on Obama's part. It's obvious to me that anon is wrong on this one.
