Delegate Ben Cline (R-24th) ~Raphine VA. Fireman's Parade & Lawn Party 2009~

.

Delegate Ben Cline walking the parade route during the Raphine Firemans Parade & Lawn Party today starting at 6:30pm. Great weather considering the storms that had moved thru the area earlier and frequent rains we have been getting all month...

Several of us came down from Augusta County to help out Ben and his campaign staff with this parade and its always easy to get people out to represent the strong G.O.P. team we have this year. Volunteers (L-R) Bill C., Charles K, Jimmy Brenenman, Elizabeth Cline, Ben Cline, Mike Shull and son, Augusta Republican Chairman Bill Shirley, Chris Green... Raphine is actually in Rockbridge County and Clines district (24th) is in parts of both Augusta and Rockbridge counties so it is also easy to get supporters to travel to support strong conservative candidates like Ben Cline..

Along with the Ben Cline set-up we provided info and numerous hand-outs providing issues and facts regarding the strong Republican candidates we have in Bob McDonnell for Governor, Bill Bolling for Lt. Governor, and Ken Cuccinelli for Attorney General.

Augusta County Republican Chairman Bill Shirley discusses topics and issues with Mike Shull who was the Republican candidate during the past election for county Supervisor in the Middlebrook district of Augusta County. A very popular information handout during this parade was the one describing Bob McDonnells plans for "More Energy, More Jobs" including offshore exploration and drilling for oil & natural gas, "Green Jobs", Nuclear, Coal, and renewable energy sources...

Besides the truck representing the Team GOP-VA we had another truck promoting "Virginians for Energy Independence" and "Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less" projects. With gasoline once again over $2.66 a gallon across the United States and possibly head towards $4+ if something is not done, this truck was very popular with the crowd...

"Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less" stickers were very popular with the crowd...

Bob McDonnell for Governor...
Bill Bolling for Lt. Goverrnor...
Ken Cuccinelli for Attorney General...
