Seals eat about eight per cent of their body weight per day in fish. Even a small seal will consume seven pounds of fish, every day.

They eat the fish that we should be feeding to people on this planet. They are not like tigers, who just cull the weak from the herd. seals eat constantly and thye compete with us for food.

Don't "rescue" them. They are depleting our fisheries and wrecking our own fish conservation efforts.

I'm sorry, but if I see a marine mammal flopping helplessly on the beach I'm going to save it.......good luck finding someone to help you if you are drowning.....i think it's the obese people who are ravaging our food supply, not seals
