A person commented on an earlier post with a link to a post on another blog that showed a complete change in "Bearing and Heading" on the bloggers part...

As I read it I was amazed by the change of direction by the writer who once was a strong supporter of the "Grass roots" and would strive to keep the "Establishment" candidates and electeds in check. Now it appears this blogger supports the "Incumbent Protection Act" where incumbents select the best tactic to keep themselves in office instead of standing up to the voters and answer for their actions while in office..
It is easy to see that the citizens are fed up with the some of the current "establishment" electeds and the direction they have taken the country with their actions and lack of action...
This is why two "outsiders" in the Republican primary are doing so well and should be allowed to ask the questions and raise the issues that the citizens have been discussing for years...

Does the Editorial Staff at this Bearing Drift realize just how destructive Lynn was? How she attempted to poison the well with the local grassroots when she no longer held power? How to this day she is not participating in any meaningful way and is passive aggressive in local races. Maybe they endorse that.
Took a ride over to bearing host page and there is a substantial list of people who "Contribute" to the Bearing Drift. I imagine it is considerable effort to monitor or even hear what really goes on in local politics when only hearing a one sided feed of events. That was one of the issues with the M&M rein during the SWAC years. Richmond only heard that which was constantly fed to them by the machine...
Interesting find was that one of the contributors to BD is one that would truly appreciate the "Ghost of General Grievous" name, that would be Kurt Michael who is listed in their "About us" page...
We saw the same thing here in our area when we would go to the Homestead for the Advance...
