Glad to be a "Redneck"

Got this in a e-mail from a friend...
Good stuff & "Sharpie", you just won't understand...

It is time to change from REDNECK humor to TRUE AMERICAN Humor! Only I don't see it as Humor, but the correct way to LIVE YOUR LIFE ! If you feel the same, pass this on to your True American friends. Ya'll know who ya' are...

You might be a TRUE AMERICAN if: It never occurred to you to be offended by the phrase, "One nation, under God."

You might be a TRUE AMERICAN if: You've never protested about seeing the 10 Commandments posted in public places.

You might be a TRUE AMERICAN if: You still say "Christmas" instead of "Winter Festival."

You might be a TRUE AMERICAN if: You bow your head when someone prays.

You might be a TRUE AMERICAN if: You stand and place your hand over your heart when they play the National Anthem.

You might be a TRUE AMERICAN if: You treat Viet Nam vets with great respect, and always have.

You might be a TRUE AMERICAN if: You've never burned an American flag.

You might be a TRUE AMERICAN if: You know what you believe and you aren't afraid to say so, no matter who is listening.

You might be a TRUE AMERICAN if: You respect your elders and expect your kids to do the same.

You might be a TRUE AMERICAN if: You'd give your last dollar to a friend.

If you got this e-mail from me, it is because I believe that you, like me, have just enough TRUE AMERICAN in you to have the same beliefs as those talked about in this e-mail.
God Bless the U S A !
Git 'er done!!

You guys and dolls call yourself rednecks? And you're from Virginia too? Hell, that's almost Yankee land for me. I was born, raised, and fed corn bread and black eyed peas from the very HEART of the Confederacy, and until I sailed around the world never realised how proud I am to be able to say I am a thoroughbred southern REDNECK from the Heart of DIXIE-Montgomery Alabama. You want to know what a true redneck is?
ME.
I'm gonna try and attach something that will make you cry if you are trully an American. If it doesn't show up, email me at postmaster@kgbass.info and I'll make sure you get it.
I like your attitude-keep it up.

There is a huge rock near a gravel pit on Hwy 25 in rural Iowa. For generations, kids have painted slogans, names, and obscenities on this rock, changing it's character many times. A few months back, the rock received its latest paint job, and since then it has been left completely undisturbed. It's quite an impressive sight. Be sure to scroll down and check out the multiple photos (all angles) of the rock. I thought the flag was draped over the rock, but it's not. It's actually painted on the rock, too.

Here's the artist Ray "Bubba" Sorensen.

AWESOME Work, RAY...Thank you!
