I am surprised. I wonder if this news release came from past criticisms? I liken this to the SS releasing a positive report on Jewish people.
Not sure about the "SS" reference but it was good to see the NewsLeader acknowledge and cover a Republican event. This is a strong conservative area and the only way to encourage and conduct debate is by covering both sides of the fence.
A fair shake is all that is asked...
Hmm, maybe we might get a fairer shake from the News-Virginian? Since I cancelled our subscription with the NL (and even convinced our family in the area to cancel theirs as well) we're paperless at the moment.
